This tool is a little smaller than a typical hori hori and considerably less expensive. The blade is just over 5" (130mm), compared to the 7.5" blade of the standard hori hori. Its a much lighter tool and easier for smaller hands to hold too. This is still a top-quality tool wit a finely sharpened stainless steel blade, straight edge on one side and serrated on the other. The blade still has a slight curve for scooping soil and a sturdy and grippy 5" (125mm) plastic handle. This smaller size means that you get less leverage for prying out large weeds, but you get more precision as well to help you work in tight spaces.
